Meet the team

Meet Reece Hagan - Remedial Massage Therapist

With a lifelong passion for sports and a history of battling his own acute injuries, Reece was naturally drawn to the science of human movement and recovery. This personal journey led him to found Bodyworks Sydney, a clinic dedicated to helping the local community move and avoid setbacks.

Reece doesn’t just treat runners; he is one. Having completed multiple half-marathons—including his most recent 21k in 2026—he intimately understands the physical and mental demands of distance training. He knows firsthand the frustration of "one-sided" niggles in the calves and hamstrings, and he uses this personal experience to help his clients navigate their own training loads and recovery cycles.

Reece completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy through the Australian Institute of Fitness. His clinical approach was shaped by years of mentorship alongside Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and senior Remedial Therapists.

He has extensive experience treating a diverse range of bodies, including:

  • Professional Athletes: NRL players, competitive swimmers, and powerlifters.

  • Distance Runners: Providing tailored support for marathon prep and injury prevention.

  • Corporate Professionals: Resolving "tech-neck" and postural strain for those working in the Chatswood CBD.

  • Everyday Humans: Stay-at-home parents and gym-goers looking to stay mobile.

Whether you are looking to shave minutes off your PB or simply want to go about your day without physical pain, Reece combines manual therapy with a deep understanding of functional anatomy to get you back to your best.

Meet Sarah Kraemer - Massage Therapist

For Sarah, health, movement, and performance are more than a profession—they've been a lifelong passion.

As a competitive wrestler for more than 13 years, Sarah understands firsthand the physical and mental demands that sport places on the body. Before discovering wrestling, she played American football, giving her experience across different athletic disciplines. She has competed throughout Germany and at the NSW Wrestling Championships, developing a deep appreciation for strength, resilience, recovery, and injury prevention.

Sarah began her professional journey by studying Sport and Health in Germany (2011–2014) before starting her career in the health and fitness industry. She later earned a Rehabilitation Licence through the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), specialising in orthopaedic rehabilitation, exercise prescription for people with coronary conditions, and COPD rehabilitation. She also completed a Sports Nutrition Certificate in Germany, allowing her to provide practical, evidence-informed nutritional guidance tailored to each client's individual goals.

After moving to Australia as a backpacker, Sarah spent several years working as a farmhand—an experience that reinforced the importance of physical resilience, hard work, and looking after the body. She later returned to the health industry with a renewed passion for helping others move better, recover faster, and live healthier lives.

To continue expanding her knowledge, Sarah has completed a range of Australian qualifications, including:

  • Certificate III & IV in Fitness

  • Whole Body Certification

  • Deep Tissue Massage Certification

  • Table Thai Stretching Course

She is currently completing her Diploma of Remedial Massage and further training in Dry Needling, ensuring her clients benefit from the latest evidence-based techniques and ongoing professional development. No health fund claiming with Sarah until December 2026.

Our Process: Targeted Care for Every Body

Every consultation begins with a detailed assessment. We don't just treat the spot that hurts; we look at the reason behind the discomfort—whether that’s a mechanical breakdown from running, postural strain from a desk, or the physical toll of a busy home life.

What to Expect in Your First Session:

  • Movement Assessment: We identify the specific imbalances or habits (like how you sit, carry, or stride) that are causing your symptoms.

  • Targeted Remedial Work: Hands-on treatment designed to release tension and restore your range of motion.

  • A Personalised Plan: You’ll leave with a clear strategy—whether that’s a plan for your next run, a better desk setup, or simple ways to manage your recovery at home.

Rooted in our core values of community, respect, and family, we provide the ongoing support you need to stay active and pain-free in your daily life.
